Ecoscape Environmental Consultants Ltd. is an environmental consulting company located in Kelowna, BC.
We provide a broad range of environmental services for our clients, focusing primarily on biophysical
inventory and mapping, ecological landuse planning, and fish and wildlife studies. Ecoscape offers exciting
opportunities for individuals to work on a wide variety of projects throughout BC. We are currently seeking
applications for the following opportunity:

GIS/CAD Technician

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

    • Excellent knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop, databases, map production, and spatial analysis (examples may be requested)
    • Relevant experience using a wide range of statistical and GIS methodologies
    • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
    • Ability to create cross sections and profiles in AutoCAD Civil 3D
    • Ability to produce clear, concise, and aesthetically pleasing outputs from ArcGIS and AutoCAD
    • Proficiency with MS Office
    • Ability to multitask and work well with a multidisciplinary team
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management (examples may be requested)


    Additional skills that are preferred, but not necessary to apply:

    • Experience with ArcGIS Pro
    • Experience with forestry and provincial GIS datasets
    • Experience with local flora and fauna identification
    • Experience with watershed delineation
    • Knowledge of ecology and/or environmental studies
